With this blog entry you will see a copyright notice on all pages of my
site. This notice was created for Google. I'm not feared that they will
steal my content but it's a kind of SEO.
Before I've relaunched my homepage I've googled my name and was pleased
to find my homepage as number one in the results. After the relaunch I
hoped to find my site still to be the number one. So I've googled my
name from time to time. But there were only resulst of my old homepage.
Looking at the Cache of the search result I've found out that the page
was last indexed at the begin of June. That was frustrating but OK as
the search bot may take some time between two visits when the content
hasn't changed for a long time.
Until yesterday. I've decided to search for jluger.de and my domain
wasn't on the first page. Then I've tried to extend the search term
with JPA and there it was. My relaunched homepage provided the first
two results. Looking at the cache it turned out that the page was
indexed at least twiche.
The relaunched page was indexed but searching my name results the old
one? How could that be. After thinking some time about it I've realized
that my name was in the tile of each page. Adding it to the title again
wasn't an option. So I've added it to the footer. When it works I will
leave it there, else I will remove the copyright notice.
Also I state that I don't care much about the copyright notice you
should know that each content has an implicit copyright in german law.
So don't please just copy the any content from my homepage. Use quotes
and links.
Oh and while I was over my page design I've changed my blog so that
titles are also links to the articles.
